Attention Retired Law Enforcement:

Any CPI Special Conservator of the Peace Entry-Level or In-Service Handgun course meets Virginia residents' annual training and qualification requirement under the Law Enforcement Officers' Safety Act.

After completing the CPI course, the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services will provide the retiree with proper documentation to verify additional LEOSA qualifications.
